100,000 Captagon Pills Found in Possession; What Will Happen Next?

The Directorate of Drug Affairs and Mental Influences in Anbar announced the arrest of a suspect found in possession of 100,000 Captagon pills in the province. Director of the directorate, Colonel Akram Mashaan Turki Al-Rashed, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "based on intelligence information and a well-defined ambush, the Directorate for Combating Drugs in Anbar was able to arrest a suspect who was found with 100,000 narcotic pills of the Captagon type in the province." He added that "the directorate continues to carry out its duties day and night against the traffickers, users, and dealers of narcotic pills," emphasizing that "there is significant cooperation between citizens and security forces in reporting suspicious cases."
