EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell disclosed today, Monday, that "several European countries will soon recognize the Palestinian state." Borrell confirmed that it is expected that several member states of the bloc will recognize a Palestinian state by the end of May. Borrell had stated on Sunday that "the European Union and Jordan will continue to work together to prevent further escalation in the region."
