Vinicius Supports Fan Initiative Before Manchester City Clash

Brazilian star Vinicius Junior of Real Madrid expressed his admiration and support for a fan initiative ahead of the match against Manchester City. Real Madrid will host Manchester City next Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu for the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals.

The Real Madrid fan platform launched an initiative encouraging everyone attending the match that day to wear white. According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo," this campaign started on March 31 during the Athletic Bilbao match when fans displayed a banner requesting "Bernabéu to wear white on April 9."

This initiative received a warm reception from Real Madrid players, as Rodrigo noted after the Bilbao match: "The truth is it would be lovely to see the stadium like that; I hope all the fans are in white." Now, Vinicius has shown his support for this initiative, as the Brazilian forward used his account on "X" to encourage fans to wear white for the game against City on Tuesday.

Vinicius shared a post featuring the fan initiative, which includes him with Jude Bellingham and Luka Modric, calling on fans to wear white, accompanied by white hearts.
