Armed Robbery at "Bank of Palestine" in Ramallah

The spokesperson for the Palestinian police, Colonel Louay Erzeqat, announced today that an armed robbery was carried out at the "Bank of Palestine" in Ramallah. The police spokesperson stated that unknown individuals executed an armed robbery at a branch of the bank in Beit Awwar Al-Tahta, west of Ramallah, and stole a sum of money. Erzeqat clarified in a brief press statement that the police and security services immediately began search and investigation procedures to pursue the perpetrators. Video clips shared by media and social media bloggers documented three individuals wearing helmets, with one of them carrying a gun, as they broke into the bank. The clips also captured the appropriation of the money and the escape of the assailants.
