The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) announced today, Wednesday, that 176 of its staff members have been "tragically" killed since the beginning of the war in the Gaza Strip. UNRWA stated, "Israeli authorities continue to prevent us from accessing northern Gaza to provide food assistance and essential supplies." It added that "more than half of the supplies delivered through the Rafah and Kerem Abu Salem crossings last month were from UNRWA."
