The Attorney General of Cassation, Judge Jamal Al-Hajjar, received the file of the preliminary investigation into the abduction and murder of Pascal Sleiman, the coordinator of the "Lebanese Forces" in Jbeil, from the army intelligence and referred it to the public prosecution in Mount Lebanon, requesting the necessary legal proceedings. Along with the file, six detainees of Syrian nationality were referred, including the four detainees who committed the crime with the intent of stealing the victim's car, according to their initial statements. Security authorities are still waiting for the arrest of two Syrian suspects wanted in this crime from the Syrian security, which had promised to hand them over out of five wanted individuals, including Lebanese suspects.
