The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced that "as part of the ongoing efforts by the Internal Security Forces to track and apprehend those involved in drug trafficking and promotion across various Lebanese regions, and as a result of field monitoring and intelligence efforts conducted by the specialized units in the Information Branch, the identity of a drug dealer was identified. He operates in drug promotion on a motorcycle in the town of Hadath and surrounding areas, known as W. Q. (born in 2000, Syrian). Orders were given for patrols to monitor him in preparation for his apprehension in the act.
On the 13th of this month, after careful monitoring, one of the branch's patrols was able to apprehend him while he was promoting drugs in Hadath on his motorcycle, a "Joke" model without plates, which was confiscated. Along with him, a customer, A. S. (born in 1987, Lebanese), who was purchasing drugs, was also arrested on a black motorcycle that was seized. Upon searching them and both motorcycles, the first was found in possession of cocaine, hashish, marijuana, and a stolen phone.
