Title: Health Ministry Demands Punishments for Those Who Assaulted Dar Al-Shifa Hospital

The Ministry of Public Health condemned in a statement the assault on Dar Al-Shifa Hospital in Tripoli and its medical staff by the relatives of a patient in the hospital's emergency department. It stated that "it is unacceptable for medical staff, who dedicate their work to serving the community, to be victims of unwarranted violence. Furthermore, causing damage to medical facilities threatens the continuity of their operations, which must be ongoing and available around the clock." The ministry added that "it has never wavered in its solidarity with the families of patients and continues to provide them with support to help their loved ones. However, it will not tolerate any transgressions from them and insists on imposing penalties on those who assaulted Dar Al-Shifa to prevent the recurrence of additional unfortunate incidents in institutions established for service, not for outbursts."
