The number of teams participating in the 35th Arab Clubs Basketball Championship, set to take place in Doha from November 1 to 12, has increased to 16 teams, following the inclusion of Al Ahly from Egypt, the runner-up of the previous championship, and Al-Riyadi from Lebanon, which holds the second-most titles after Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari. The final list is as follows: Qatar, Al Ahly from Qatar, Beirut, Al-Riyadi from Lebanon, Kuwait (the defending champion), Al-Qadsia from Kuwait, Al-Ittihad Al-Sakandari, Al Ahly from Egypt, Al-Wehda from Sana'a, Yemen, Al-Ittihad from Libya, Al-Buraij Services from Palestine, Al-Seeb from Oman, Al-Muharraq from Bahrain, Al-Jaish Al-Markazi from Syria, Al-Ittihad Al-Riyadi from Algeria, and Al-Fateh from Saudi Arabia. The draw ceremony will be held next month through the Arab Basketball Federation's online platform.
