Tesla Robot Violently Attacks Worker

In a brutal and bloody attack, a Tesla robot assaulted an engineer at the company's "Gigafactory Texas" near Austin, United States. Witnesses from the company revealed the horror experienced by their colleague during the assault by the robot, which is designed to pick and transport freshly cast aluminum car parts. The robot pinned the man, who was programming two nearby Tesla robots, before embedding its metal claws into the worker's back and arm, leaving a trail of blood along the factory floor.

The injury report, which Tesla is required by law to submit to authorities to maintain profitable tax exemptions in Texas, stated that the engineer did not need time off work. However, a lawyer representing contracted workers at Gigafactory Texas expressed belief, based on conversations with workers there, that the number of injuries at the factory has not been adequately reported.

The incident, which left the victim with an open wound on his left hand, was detailed in the 2021 injury report submitted to Travis County and federal regulators, which was reviewed by the Daily Mail. While no other robot-related injuries were reported to regulators by Tesla at the Texas factory in 2021 or 2022, the incident comes amid years of increasing concerns about the risks of automated robots in the workplace. Reports of rising injuries due to robots in Amazon's shipping centers or in self-driving cars have led some to question the rapid integration of new technology.
