The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported: "An F-15 aircraft that attacked Gaza had to make an emergency landing at Tel Nof Air Base due to a technical malfunction." It added: "Its landing gear did not deploy upon landing, causing the munitions to fall to the ground, and it ultimately landed partially on its belly." The report cited the Israeli military stating: "During the landing of a warplane at a military base in central Israel as part of operational activity, a technical malfunction occurred with the aircraft's wheels." It continued: "The aircraft crew handled the incident and proceeded to make the emergency landing. During the emergency landing, the aircraft was damaged. There were no injuries, and the incident is being managed and investigated."
