US State Department: We Have Not Seen a Credible Israeli Plan Regarding Rafah

On Tuesday, US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel revealed that the United States has not seen a credible Israeli plan for conducting a military operation in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza that would address its concerns. Earlier on Tuesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledged to proceed with the operation despite international worries about the fate of over a million Palestinians who have displaced to the city.
