Salaries of the Public Sector Before the Holiday!

The Minister of Finance in the caretaker government, Youssef Khalil, announced that "the relevant directorates responsible for disbursing public sector salaries, including retirees and all military personnel, have completed their work and will transfer the amounts to the Central Bank of Lebanon the day after tomorrow, Monday. This is to ensure that the entitled recipients will receive their salaries on time and before the holiday." Khalil praised the significant effort made by the directors and employees who worked late into Friday night and throughout Saturday to complete all procedures, especially after the electronic center team managed to overcome the malfunctions in the electronic systems that had caused a complete halt in operations across all directorates over the past two days.
