The Air France Boeing 777, en route from Osaka (Japan) to Paris, was forced to land in Azerbaijan after a warning signal was triggered in the cabin due to smoke on board. The press service of Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Azerbaijan, stated that "an alarm was announced at the airport this evening due to the emergency landing of an Air France aircraft, which sent a request to land due to the smoke aboard."
