Injury of a Woman in an Attack During the Ruling Party's Election Campaign for Istanbul Mayor

Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that "a woman was injured in an armed attack in Istanbul today, Saturday, during the ruling Justice and Development Party's election campaign for the mayoral position of the city." At approximately 16:30 today, long-barreled guns and pistols were fired at the venue of the AK Party candidate Aziz Yeniay's introduction event in the Kanarya neighborhood.
