Lebanese fashion designer Eli Saab revealed the latest developments regarding artist Fairouz's health, noting: "Fairouz loves to come to me to make dresses." During his interview with Amr Adib's program, he affirmed: "Long live Fairouz; she is an icon that cannot be repeated. The last time I saw her was a year ago, and her health is stable."
He added: "Fairouz is a unique person; there is no one like her. Her way, her reception, her laughter—there is no one in this world who has reached the level that Fairouz is at." He continued: "Fairouz's spirit currently feels like a 20-year-old; she has a youthful spirit within that no one else has. She has been getting dresses from me for 30 years, and her taste is simple and unpretentious. She is a princess without the dresses; she does not need dresses because she is a phenomenon in herself. When she appears, she captivates everyone without the dresses; she has a presence that no one else possesses."
