American Ambassador to Lebanon, Lisa Johnson, visited the Palace of Justice in Beirut accompanied by a delegation from the American embassy and technicians. The ambassador toured the judicial building with Minister of Justice Henry Khoury, President of the Supreme Judicial Council Suhail Aboud, and several judges. The tour included buildings where the embassy has completed a project funded by INL (International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs). The delegation also inspected the Archive Building of the Civil Court of Cassation in Beirut, which contains both paper and electronic archives, as well as the archive of commercial registry in Beirut and the commercial registry building at the Palace of Justice in Beirut.
