Turkish police apprehended an organized prostitution ring that forced foreign women to engage in sex for money after luring them to Istanbul with promises of employment as childcare providers or caregivers. Teams from the Moral Affairs Office of the Istanbul Police's Public Order Directorate arrested seven individuals, including three foreigners and four suspects, who allegedly deceived the women by posting advertisements seeking babysitters or caregivers, only to later burden them with debts, coercing them into prostitution. The defendants have been brought to court, and the foreign women have been handed over to the immigration authorities for deportation due to the expiration of their visas.
