Massacre at a Wedding: Bride and Guests Killed, Then Shooter Takes Own Life

In an unbelievable incident, this Thai bride was unaware that her end would come on her wedding day at the hands of her groom. A wedding massacre in Thailand resulted in the deaths of five people after a "drunk" groom opened fire on his bride and guests before committing suicide.

The details reveal that the shooting occurred around 11:25 PM last Saturday at a house in the Wang Nam Khiao area of northeastern Thailand, where the wedding of Chaturong Suksuk, 29, and Kanchana Patchonthawik, 44, was taking place. During the celebrations, guests and relatives noticed that Chaturong, a former soldier, appeared angry after an argument with his bride. He left the venue, went to his car, returned with a 9mm handgun, and opened fire, resulting in the deaths of the bride, her mother, Kingthong Klaejoo, 62, and her sister, Kornika Manathor, 38.

Stray bullets also struck two other guests, killing one of them, Thong Nunkhonthod, 50, and seriously injuring Bamrung Chaterarat, 28. The shooter then placed the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

Notably, the bodies were left scattered on the dance floor when emergency crews arrived. Guests reported that Chaturong was completely drunk at the time and became enraged over fears that his new wife would leave him for other men. The police stated that Chaturong was a former marine who worked at the Sattahip Naval Base in Chonburi and had lost his right leg after being run over by a train while in service.
