The First Images of the Floating Pier in Gaza... What is the Cost?

The U.S. Central Command released the first images today, Tuesday, of the floating pier that it has begun constructing off the coast of Gaza. The Central Command stated via its account on "X": "The floating pier will support efforts to deliver aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip." An official from the U.S. Department of Defense reported that the estimated cost for the U.S. military to build a pier off the coast of Gaza for humanitarian assistance has risen to $320 million. This amount reflects the massive scale of construction that the Department of Defense (Pentagon) noted involves about a thousand U.S. troops, mostly from the Army and Navy.
