French Foreign Minister: The Situation in Gaza is Catastrophic and a Ceasefire is Needed

French Foreign Minister, Stéphane Séjourné, revealed today, Monday, that talks regarding a ceasefire in Gaza are making progress. Séjourné stated from the Saudi capital, Riyadh: "Things are moving forward, but you always have to be cautious in these discussions and negotiations. The situation in Gaza is catastrophic, and we need a ceasefire." Séjourné is visiting Riyadh, where he is scheduled to meet with other ministers from Arab and Western countries, in addition to Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
