The coordinator of the Arab Advisory Board in Kirkuk, Nazim al-Shammari, noted today, Friday, that the issue of forming the local government in Kirkuk is "complicating." Al-Shammari stated in an interview with "Baghdad Today" that "the Kirkuk problem is becoming more complicated, with each party sticking to its opinion and no solution in sight to resolve the current crisis and appoint the governor and the chairman of the provincial council along with their deputies." He added that "Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani should intervene to find a way out of the complicated crisis, and the best solution would be to rotate the position of the Kirkuk governor among the three components: Kurds, Turkmen, and Arabs."
