Title: Arrest of Wanted Individuals in Akkar and Tripoli Areas

The following statement was issued by the Army Command – Directorate of Guidance: On March 15, 2024, a force from the army, supported by a patrol from the Intelligence Directorate, raided the homes of several wanted individuals in the Ain al-Dahab area of Akkar, where they arrested Lebanese nationals (R.A.), (B.A.), (A.A.), and (K.T.) who were wanted under arrest warrants for possession of military weapons and gunfire. Military weapons and a quantity of ammunition and military equipment were seized inside their homes. Additionally, a force from the army arrested Lebanese nationals (A.S.) and (A.A.) along with Syrians (F.A.) and (A.A.) in the internal markets and Zahriyeh area of Tripoli for possessing military weapons and driving motorcycles without legal documents. The seized items were handed over, and investigations with the detainees began under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
