Recent raids conducted by anti-smuggling teams at the Lebanese Tobacco and Tobacco Products Administration ("Regie") in various areas have resulted in the confiscation of quantities of smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products. The raids took place in regions including Choueifat, Deir Qoubel, and Bourj Hammoud, as well as at the entrance of Bourj el-Barajneh camp. Records of violations were documented and are currently under review by the competent judiciary.
