The Iraqi news agency reported today, Friday, that Baghdad expressed "serious concern" regarding an attack that targeted the city of Isfahan in central Iran, warning of "the dangers of military escalation." The agency quoted the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stating, "This escalation should not distract attention from what is happening in the Gaza sector, with destruction and the loss of innocent lives."
