Yulia Navalnaya, the wife of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, confirmed that "the day of justice will come soon," and that "Russian President Vladimir Putin and his government will be held accountable for what they have done." She pointed out that she had not received confirmation regarding her husband's death. Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, she stated, "I want them to know that they will be punished for what they have done to our country, to my family, and to my husband," adding that she did not have confirmation regarding her husband's death.
She continued: "They will be brought to justice, and that day will come soon." Navalnaya called on the international community to fight against Putin's regime, which she described as "horrific." She said, "I want to call on the international community and all people in the world, we must unite, and we must fight this evil. We must combat this terrible regime in Russia today... This regime and Vladimir Putin must be held personally responsible for all the atrocities committed in our country." She expressed during the Munich conference: "I thought about it for a long time, wondering whether to stand before you or return to my children, then I thought: what would Alexei do if he were in my place? And I am confident that he would stand here on this platform."
