IMF Lowers Israel's Economic Growth Forecast

The International Monetary Fund has reduced its growth forecast for the Israeli economy this year to 1.6 percent, having previously projected a growth rate of 3.1 percent in October. In its World Economic Outlook report, the fund stated that Israel's GDP growth will also be 1.6 percent in 2024, which is lower than the Bank of Israel's forecast of 2 percent. Additionally, the IMF projected the Israeli economy will grow by 5.4 percent in 2025, which is higher than the Bank of Israel's prediction of 5 percent.
