Turkish media reported that "Ankara has stopped all exports and imports to and from Israel starting today, Thursday." It stated, "Turkey has suspended all commercial activities with Israel."
In response, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz mentioned that "Israel will seek alternative trade solutions focusing on local production and imports from other countries." He added that "Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is violating agreements by blocking Israeli imports and exports through Turkish ports." Katz stated, "I have instructed immediate action with all relevant government parties to find alternatives for trade with Turkey."
