Israeli Artillery Shelling on Southern Towns... and Hezbollah Responds

Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of the town of Ramish, while Israeli drones targeted a house in the town of Dahira. Intensive reconnaissance flights were reported over the western and central sectors, especially over the southern villages and towns adjacent to the Blue Line. Reports indicated Israeli artillery shelling targeting the outskirts of the Tabasine area near Naqoura. Additionally, an Israeli drone targeted a house near the mosque in the town of Dahira.

In response, Hezbollah announced in a statement that its members targeted "at 3:45 PM on Monday, January 8, 2024, a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in Shetula using appropriate weapons, resulting in casualties among them." In another statement, it declared that it "targeted at 3:35 PM on Monday, January 8, 2024, the site of Rouissate Al-Alam in the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms with rocket fire, causing confirmed injuries," and also targeted "at 4:00 PM on Monday, January 8, 2024, a gathering of Israeli enemy soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Jal al-Mubarak site with rocket fire, resulting in casualties among them."
