The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" announced today, Saturday, that it has submitted its response to the proposal presented last Monday to Egyptian and Qatari mediators, reaffirming its commitment to its demands and the demands of the people. The movement stated in a statement that "Hamas has just delivered its response to the brothers in mediation in Egypt and Qatar regarding the proposal it received last Monday, and we again emphasize our commitment to our national demands."
It pointed out that the demands are: "a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupation army from the entire Gaza Strip, the return of displaced people to their areas and places of residence, the intensification of relief and aid entry, and the commencement of reconstruction." Hamas emphasized that it "is ready to conclude a serious and genuine prisoner exchange deal between the two parties."
