Israeli Channel 13 confirmed that Israel will agree to a ceasefire for several weeks, and will also agree to the release of Palestinian prisoners, including those accused of carrying out killings. It added: "Israel will demand the release of dozens of hostages, including women and female soldiers, and will ask for more than 20 prisoners. The deal still depends on Hamas's response."
Israeli broadcasting authority reported that the war cabinet has agreed to conduct talks tomorrow with the Egyptian delegation that will arrive in Israel. The delegation will hold discussions with the Shin Bet to present details of the renewed Egyptian proposal. According to Israeli Channel 12: "The deal being formulated and to be discussed tomorrow with the Egyptian delegation includes the return of displaced persons from southern Gaza to the north and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Netzarim axis, but there will be no commitment to a complete cessation of hostilities."
