Reports have revealed the status of Al-Nassr duo Abdulmajid Al-Sulaihim and Ali Al-Lajami regarding their participation against Al-Gulf in the Roshen Saudi Professional League. Al-Nassr will face Al-Gulf next Saturday in the 29th round of the competition.
According to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah," Abdulmajid Al-Sulaihim participated in team training on Wednesday. The newspaper added that defender Ali Al-Lajami has been jogging around the pitch for the third consecutive day and is nearing the completion of his rehabilitation program.
The report pointed out that the technical and medical teams decided not to rely on the duo against Al-Gulf to avoid taking risks and to prepare them for the remaining matches of the season. Both players suffered from muscle tears, with Al-Lajami injured in the quadriceps and Al-Sulaihim in the adductor.
Additionally, the newspaper stated that Sami Al-Najai continued his rehabilitation program at the club's headquarters and that the chances of him joining the match against Al-Gulf on May 1 in the cup semi-finals are low.
