Today, a joint meeting took place in the Ain el-Hilweh camp involving the Palestinian National Liberation Movement "Fatah," "Ansar Brigade," and "Islamic Mujahideen Movement," initiated by the Secretary-General of the Popular Nasserist Organization, MP Osama Saad. The attendees discussed "what happened in the camp and its repercussions," emphasizing the implementation of the resolutions agreed upon by the Palestinian Joint Action Committee, which took place in the presence of the Ambassador of the State of Palestine, Ashraf Dabbour, as well as representatives from President Najib Mikati's office, the Amal Movement, and the Popular Nasserist Organization, along with a representative from the Lebanese army command. This included the urgent necessity to surrender the killers to Lebanese justice.

The attendees reinforced "the importance of protecting Ain el-Hilweh camp from past and potential infiltrations." The statement noted that "the opinions were unanimous regarding maintaining security in the camp and implementing the agreements reached at the Palestinian Embassy, particularly through field measures to follow up on the decisions related to surrendering the killers."

The participants highlighted "the good relationship between the Fatah Movement and the Ansar Brigade and the Mujahideen Movement, and the immediate removal of all armed presence throughout the camp." They agreed to "form a field committee to address all issues on the ground" and confirmed that surrendering the wanted individuals to the Lebanese authorities would restore calm to Ain el-Hilweh camp. Finally, the attendees emphasized "the necessity of residents returning to their homes in all remaining neighborhoods of the camp."
