Fatalities and injuries were reported, while the Lebanese Red Cross, the health authority, and members of the Islamic Scouts worked to transport the injured to hospitals in the area.
Starting from this afternoon, there have been extensive and large-scale Israeli attacks on the vicinity of Baalbek with continuous airstrikes on several areas. The Israeli occupation is escalating its actions. The Lebanese Army established a security cordon around the targeted area, preventing access. According to eyewitnesses, a vacant building in the town of Sirin was hit. Civil defense teams are working to ensure there are no injuries.
Additionally, information indicated that the airstrike in the Bekaa targeted two different objectives with two missiles at the intersection of Sirin and Safri near the Riaq junction. A second Israeli airstrike targeted the Baalbek vicinity in the town of Nabi Sheet. A third strike hit the plain of Hosh al-Rafqa opposite Sirin. The Israeli military announced, "We carried out airstrikes on important Hezbollah complexes in Baalbek deep in Lebanon."
