The government media office in the Gaza Strip announced today, Monday, that there are over one million infections from infectious diseases due to displacement within the strip, which has been under devastating Israeli bombardment for more than six months.
The office, in an update on the most important statistics regarding the Israeli war on the strip, reported that there are 1,089,000 infections from infectious diseases among citizens due to displacement, in addition to 8,000 cases of hepatitis virus inflammation.
During the war, Israel has forced most Palestinians in northern and central Gaza to flee to the city of Rafah, adjacent to Egypt.
