The General Directorate of Civil Aviation announced that an Ethiopian Airlines plane registered in Ethiopia landed early Thursday morning at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut, with the number ET-AXK. The directorate confirmed in a statement that airport security reported a small phrase "Tel Aviv" on the aircraft's body, which was very difficult to see from a distance. The Ethiopian company explained that it usually records the name of the airport where the plane lands for the first time after purchase, which is what happened with this aircraft, noting that it did not notice this matter before bringing the plane to Beirut Airport. The directorate requested that the company remove the phrase from the aircraft's body before allowing it to take off from Beirut, which was indeed carried out. Additionally, the directorate asked the company to take necessary measures to ensure that there are no logos related to the Israeli entity on the company's planes before landing at Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut.
