After a six-month suspension of its flights to Israel, Air Canada is set to resume operations, as announced by the company. In a statement, the company indicated that starting from April 9, 2024, Air Canada will resume service between Canada and Israel. The flight schedule will consist of: four non-stop round trips per week from Toronto in April, three return flights weekly from Toronto, and one return flight weekly from Montreal starting in May in preparation for the resumption of service. The company explained that this decision was made after "conducting a comprehensive safety analysis, including consultations with government authorities, the unions representing our crew members, and security experts," confirming that "we will continue to monitor the situation in the region and adjust our schedule accordingly."
