Israeli warplanes launched several airstrikes on the Iaat Plain in eastern Lebanon on Wednesday evening, causing significant material damage. A Lebanese security source reported that the strikes occurred near the Sayyid Al-Awsiyah complex and a few kilometers from the shrine of Sayyida Safiyya.
There was one reported injury from the airstrikes in Baalbek. The "Israeli Army Radio" stated that the air force bombed deep into the Bekaa Valley in response to gunfire directed at Arab Al-Aramshe.
