Injuries in Drone Attack on Russian Tatarstan

Authorities in the Republic of Tatarstan, Russia, reported that Ukrainian drones attacked buildings, including a workers' housing facility in the industrial city of Yelabuga, resulting in injuries and damages, and aimed at an oil refinery in Nizhny Kamensk without causing harm. The press office of the Tatarstan governor stated, "The attack occurred this morning, April 2. There was no significant destruction, and the operations of institutions have not ceased. In Yelabuga, there are damaged buildings, and all necessary assistance is being provided." The statement urged for "calm and to avoid the panic that the perpetrators of this crime are trying to instill." The mayor of Nizhny Kamensk mentioned that a drone attempted to attack the oil refinery but was neutralized by defense means without causing injuries or damage. Authorities in Yelabuga indicated that the drones were equipped with equipment from NATO countries and that multiple buildings were targeted, resulting in seven injuries.
