Death of 3 People While Heading to Downtown Beirut to Support Gaza

A horrific traffic accident occurred on the Jounieh - Dbaye highway, resulting in 3 fatalities and 3 injuries, when an SUV collided with a bus transporting demonstrators heading to Martyrs' Square in downtown Beirut to participate in a solidarity event for Gaza. Kifah Al-Kassar, a member of the Islamic Higher Council, expressed his condolences in a statement for the souls of the martyrs supporting Gaza and Palestine, Ahmad Hussein Qura, Mustafa Ali Hasan, and Ali Jalal Al-Zakhouri, who lost their lives this morning while on their way to downtown Beirut for the sit-in supporting Gaza. He said: "We mourn ourselves and our people in Dinniyeh and the entire Islamic Ummah for these heroes who sacrificed their lives for Gaza and the Palestinian cause, and we consider them martyrs before Allah, by His permission." He concluded: "Congratulations to you for this martyrdom that has allowed you to join the ranks of the martyrs of Al-Aqsa and Gaza, and we ask Allah to ease this calamity for your families, and we say nothing but what pleases our Lord, and indeed we belong to Allah and indeed to Him we shall return. We also ask Allah for the swift recovery of the injured."
