Yahya El-Fakharany said, "The series is a social drama based on the novel 'Thresholds of Joy' by Ibrahim Abdel Meguid; it fits my age. The idea is about a person who reaches a certain age and wants to be happy, but can only reach the thresholds. He is content to have reached the threshold; the idea is nice, and the character is appropriate." He continued, "They told me it will be presented in the first half of Ramadan."
Yahya El-Fakharany explained that he enjoys knowing his wife, the writer Lamis Jabir's opinion on his works, even if he doesn't always follow that opinion; he always loves for her to read his works with him. The series "Thresholds of Joy" consists of 15 episodes and stars Yahya El-Fakharany, Jumana Murad, Salah Abdallah, Enba, Khaled Shabate, Safaa El-Toukhy, Sama Ibrahim, Hisham Ismail, Wafa Sadiq, Hazem Ehab, Youssef Osman, Leila Izz Al-Arab, and Alaa Morsi, with a dramatic adaptation by Medhat Al-Adl and directed by Magdy Abu Amira, produced by Gamal Al-Adl. Yahya El-Fakharany's last work was the series "Naguib Zahi Zarkash," which aired in Ramadan 2021.
