In a shocking incident for social media followers of the famous blogger Aya Ehab, investigative authorities in Giza have decided to refer the Egyptian blogger to the criminal court on charges of possessing 860 kilograms of hashish. She was found with another person inside an apartment located in the Hadayek Al-Ahram area of Giza. The authorities charged Aya Ehab and her partner with possessing 860 kilograms of hashish with a monetary value amounting to 9 million Egyptian pounds, which was seized in their apartment.
Investigative reports revealed that Aya Ehab and her companion Rami used their apartment in Hadayek Al-Ahram as a base for the continuous trade in drugs. Aya Ehab, a young woman in her twenties, began her journey on social media over two years ago and has various pages across different platforms, gaining fame particularly on TikTok, where she provides entertaining content and showcases dance routines in short videos. She has around 930,000 followers on TikTok, with her videos receiving millions of views and thousands of likes, in addition to her interest in fashion.
Investigations uncovered that the accused Aya Ehab was involved in drug trafficking alongside her friend, using their residence as a site for their criminal activity. Following the legal procedures, they were targeted, and 860 kilograms of hashish, cash, two mobile phones, and four cars were seized from them, with the estimated value of the seized drugs being approximately 9 million Egyptian pounds. Legal actions have been initiated.
The investigations carried out by the police from the Al-Ahram Police Department indicated a wrongful relationship between the young man and the young woman, their engagement in immoral activities inside one of the residential apartments, as well as their collaboration in drug trafficking and sales, using two X6 vehicles for these activities.
