Unclear Symptoms of Eye Cancer

Symptoms of eye cancer may include redness of the eye, infectious diseases, inflammation, dilation of the pupil, blood clotting in the front part of the eye, retinal detachment, rapid fatigue, and gradual vision loss. Dr. Anton Ivanov, a specialist in oncology, stated in an interview with Gazeta.Ru: "The symptoms of eye cancer can vary depending on the type of cancer. For instance, if the cancer is on the iris, a change in color and the appearance of spots and nodules on its surface may be characteristic symptoms. If the tumor is in the eyelid area, a nodule that can bleed may appear. Skin cancer of the eyelids is characterized by symptoms such as double vision and the appearance of dark spots on the iris." According to him, in most cases, eye cancer develops without clear symptoms and does not appear until late stages. He explains, "The causes of eye cancer are related to poor environmental conditions, radiation emissions, genetic predisposition, the negative effects of ultraviolet rays, infection with the HIV virus, and carcinogenic substances in low-quality food and cosmetics. Genetic mutations and hereditary factors can also contribute to the development of eye cancer." The specialist advises that if such symptoms appear, one should consult an eye doctor to determine the cause and, if necessary, undergo examinations and subsequently receive the appropriate treatment.
