The Egyptian artist, Basem Samra, was a guest on the first episode of the program "Ramiz Gab Ma'akher," which is exclusively broadcast on "mbc." The episode featured fellow Egyptian artist Ahmed El Saka, in a meeting with Basem Samra following the latter's comments about him in a previous television interview.
Ramiz Galal asked Samra about his statement where he claimed that El Saka's acting was "mediocre," to which Basem Samra responded: "That was a black day when I said that." He announced his retraction of that statement while El Saka explained why he decided to work again with Basem Samra in the series "Al-Ataula," which airs during Ramadan.
El Saka confirmed their collaboration, saying: "My dear, and he is from my neighborhood, Nazlet El Semman," denying that he had removed any scenes involving Samra from a previous film. Ramiz Galal also discussed Samra's prior comment about Nelly Karim, claiming she learned acting from him, to which he admitted the truth of his statement. He confirmed he was supposed to participate alongside Nelly Karim in a series and was happy about the role, but she chose to work with her husband, former squash player Hisham Ashour, instead. He then spoke about her husband wanting to act, leading him to marry her and leave squash.
