Israeli army spokesperson, Avichai Adraee, stated on Monday evening that "Iran sends tens of millions of dollars annually to each terrorist militia operating as its proxy." In a video posted to his account on the platform "X," Adraee mentioned that "tens of millions of dollars annually go to Islamic Jihad, and $100 million annually to Hamas." He continued: "Hundreds of millions of dollars annually to its militias in Iraq, hundreds of millions of dollars annually to its militias in Syria, hundreds of millions of dollars annually to the Houthis in Yemen, and $700 million annually to Hezbollah in Lebanon." He noted that "this money does not go to the people of Lebanon, Gaza, Iraq, Syria, or Yemen but rather to the armies and terrorist militias throughout the Middle East and beyond, spreading destruction, corruption, and devastation everywhere."
