French Foreign Minister Stéphane Sigourné indicated that "today, Tuesday, we shared with Israel proposals made to Lebanon to calm tensions with Hezbollah." Prior to a meeting with his Israeli counterpart Israel Katz, Sigourné pointed out that "the basis of the proposals made to Lebanon and Israel is to ensure the implementation of Resolution 1701."
