Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen will arrive in Lebanon on Thursday morning. They will be received by Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati at the courtyard of the Grand Serail, followed by a half-hour trilateral meeting, after which a broader meeting will take place with the participating official delegations. The two guests are also scheduled to meet with Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri in Ain al-Tineh later. This is the Cypriot President's second visit in less than a month, and the discussions are expected to continue on the issue of illegal immigration.
