Bride Dies Hours After Wedding in Car Accident

In a shocking incident, a man lost his bride in a car accident just hours after their wedding. According to "cbsnews," the bride was leaving her wedding ceremony when she was struck by a woman driving under the influence of alcohol in South Carolina, USA. Aric Hutchinson, 36, and Samantha, 34, were riding in a golf cart from their wedding in Folly Beach, South Carolina, when a speeding Toyota Camry collided with them, causing the bride to die instantly.

Aric was taken to the hospital due to a brain injury and broken bones, while his bride - still wearing her wedding dress - died at the scene. Investigators stated, "Data obtained from the vehicle of Jamie Lee Komoroski, the renter, indicated she was driving at 65 miles per hour and only briefly applied the brakes before colliding with the golf cart in Folly Beach, knowing that the speed limit on the island near Charleston is 25 miles per hour."

The groom's mother wrote, "I received Aric's wedding ring in a plastic bag at the hospital just hours after the wedding. Aric lost the love of his life." Komoroski remained in the Charleston County Jail, and the records did not clarify whether she had an attorney.
