In just a few hours, Egyptian theaters will premiere the film "Al-Harifa," starring a group of young actors including Nour Al-Nabawi, festival singer Kazabra, and Khaled Al-Dhahabi, the son of singer Assala, along with retired Egyptian football star Ahmed Hossam Mido. The film revolves around a young man forced by circumstances to leave a life of luxury and transfer from his private school to a public one, where he earns the respect of his classmates due to his football skills and joins the school team in hopes of achieving his championship dream.
A series of comedic videos has been shared by singer Kazabra with Khaled Al-Dhahabi on TikTok, discussing his participation in the film alongside Assala's son. Khaled expressed his objections to the idea, but Kazabra convinced him that it was important for marketing the film. They continued to joke around in the videos, which garnered significant views, with Kazabra confirming that Assala contributes a song in the film to support her son Khaled. However, Khaled repeatedly protested in the videos against promoting the film through his mother, responding to Kazabra, "This will upset things at home."
After several comedic clips, the duo posted a video where Khaled called his mother Assala to apologize, confirming to the viewers that his co-star caused him trouble at home. When Assala answered the call, Khaled said, "It's my fault, I swear," referring to their discussion about Assala's song for the film. Assala responded, "Who told you that I would make a special song for the film?" Kazabra then chimed in, "We are trying to stick to you," to which Assala replied, "No, don’t stick to me... or else I’ll stick you both together."
In the end, Assala asked them to stop, saying, "You guys are free... could you leave me alone?"
