The Minister of Agriculture in the caretaker government, Abbas Hajj Hassan, led a delegation from the ministry to meet with the Minister of Environment, Water, and Agriculture in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Abdul Rahman Al-Fadhli. They discussed bilateral agricultural relations. Hajj Hassan emphasized the "central role that the Kingdom plays in bridging Arab-Arab gaps through the meetings hosted in Riyadh, the latest of which was the ICAD summit and the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development." He commended Minister Al-Fadhli's unifying, constructive role aimed at framing efforts for sustainable Arab food security.
